| Beijing: CCTV Journalists Under its first health insurance policy issued after launching of business, PICC Health has provided coverage and services to CCTV journalists during their reporting of the remeasuring of the height of Mount Qomolangma in 2005. Qingdao: Municipal Medical Insurance PICC Health provided health insurance and services to 1.3 million citizens, a program which was originally operated by Qingdao municipal government. The project was regarded as an experiment to integrate social insurance with commercial operation, and has received approval from the local government and social insurance management institutions. Shanghai: Baoshan Steel Group PICC Health is also the insurer of a comprehensive insurance package covering 26422 employees of Baoshan Steel Group in Shanghai. The insurance package covers accident, medical, overseas accident and emergency assistance, with an overall insured amount of 11.3 billion yuan. Guangdong: Daya Bay Nuclear Power PICC Health also provided coverage of dread diseases as well as health management services to more than 2000 staff of Guangdong Daya Bay Nuclear Power company. Yunnan: Medical Insurance Centers PICC Health is also carrier of supplementary medical insurance for urban and rural workers in Kunming, Honghe and other cities in Yunnan province, who have been covered by social medical insurance. . | |
